Hey there! I wanted to take a minute and introduce myself! I’m Annie and I have been photographing people for 12 years! I love getting to know my clients and bringing out their unique style and personality during their photo shoot. I especially love shooting seniors because their energy is so fun & they are always ready to take on the world!
I believe that senior photos should be fun, stress free and memorable. Your senior photo session is part of the senior year celebration and I make sure that you are celebrated.
Here are five things you may not know about me:
1. I have a Master’s Degree in Counseling and am an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor)
2. I love to build furniture on my off time.
3. I have 3 adult children, so I’ve been a senior mom 3 times!!
4. I am also a teacher of photography. I recently began to teach photography to high school students.
5. Everything I do, and everything I accomplish is for God’s Glory! My faith is very important and I honestly wouldn’t be able to do any of the above without God.
I started my photography business because I really enjoyed working with people and I wanted to be able to share my passion with others. My business didn’t just start overnight. I started my business as a “weekend” gig and kept it a “side job” for about 10 years. 2 years ago I did something scary and risky. I left my full time, stable, job at a great hospital to pursue my dream of having a full time photography business and being creative most of the time. It’s been ups and downs, as it is with most businesses, but I have zero regrets and have realized that it’s only begun.
Specializing in Senior Photography has made it all even better. It’s so refreshing and fun to work with high school students. It’s also challenged my creativity.
